Michael R Seibolt

Michael Seibolt, 62, of Fairbury, passed away on September 26, 2016. Michael was born on December 16, 1953 in Fairbury to Loretta and Robert Seibolt.

Michael graduated from Fairbury High School in 1972. After graduation, Michael married his high school sweetheart, Pamela Ebbers, on December 18, 1972. As a strong provider and loving husband and father, Michael worked in the family business, R & L Seibolt Milk Transfer, until the late 80’s before spending the next 28 years as a city employee at Fairbury Light and Water.

Michael’s love of hunting, fishing, trap shooting, being a grandparent, parent and husband kept him busy. However, not to busy to keep him from being the family “Prankster” whenever possible. Michael loved to rock out with classic rock and Brooklyn Bounce. He could surpass all with his knowledge of technology. Michael was also a good cook. He was known for his homemade icecream , pumpkin pies, and fried turkey. Michael was by far an amazing grandparent and loved spending time with his grandsons, Dylan and Brandon Seibolt.

Michael is preceded in death by his parent’s Robert and Loretta Seibolt and wife Pamela Seibolt (Ebbers) on July 13, 1991 to Cancer. Michael’s devotion to Pamela never faltered and was just as strong 25 years later.

Michael is survived by his children; Nichole Seibolt of Fairbury and Steven Seibolt of Plymouth; grandson’s Dylan and Brandon Seibolt of Plymouth; Aunt Ruth Seibolt, Mother-in-law Ardelle Ebbers, Sister-in-law Kandy Buchli and husband Ted, Brother-in-law Delmar Ebbers and wife Pam, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 1:30 pm Friday September 30, 2016 at Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home Chapel in Fairbury, with Lana Likens officiating. The family will greet friends Thursday September 29, 2016 at Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home from 6:30 to 8:00 pm. Memorials to the Family’s Choice. Burial at the Fairbury Cemetery-Fairbury, NE. Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home in Fairbury is in charge of arrangements.
