Norman “Poncho” Medina, 77, of Fairbury, NE. passed away December 28, 2013 at Bryan LGH West Hospital in Lincoln. He was born August 13, 1936 at Meadow, NE. to Fibencio & Candelaria (Gallardo) Medina. He was a Marine Veteran.
Survivors are Son: Scott Medina, Daughter: Andrea Lanze, Grandchildren: Correy Hein, Brodie Lanze, McKenna Lanze, Alex Medina, Brothers: Jess Medina and Hank Medina, Sisters: Lupe Medina, Juanita Fuentez, Chris Flores, Margaret Medina.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday January 10, 2014 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Fairbury with Father John Birkel officiating. Burial at the Fairbury Cemetery, Fairbury, NE. There will be a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Thursday January 9th at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Fairbury. Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home in Fairbury is in charge of arrangements.
