Opal P. Swartz age 91 of Endicott, Nebraska passed away on December 12, 2011. She was born February 22, 1920 at Steele City, Nebraska the daughter of Ross and Iva Swartz Pickering.
Survivors include her children Colleen Grammer and husband Bob, Sharon Kapperman and husband Gene, Randall Swartz and special friend Sally Chrastil, LaVon Ashby, 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Dale, son Roger, great-grandson Derek Zabokrtsky, great-great-granddaughter Libra Ashby, brothers Virgil and Doyle, sister Lucille.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Endicott with Darlene Novotny officiating. Burial will be in the Fairbury Cemetery. The family will greet friends on Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
