Orval H. Achtemeier age 84 of Fairbury passed away on May 9, 2011. He was born August 15, 1926 at Harbine, Nebraska the son of John and Ella Schnuelle Achtemeier.
Survivors include his daughters Kitty DeBoer and husband Richard, Jackie Calkins and husband Glenn, Kathy Kaup and husband Earl, Patty Meek and husband Doug, 18 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 13, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at the Presbyterian Church in Fairbury with Pastor Steve Frazier officiating. Burial will be in the Fairbury Cemetery. The family will greet friends on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
