Pamela Sharmell Kujath, 63, of Fairbury, Neb., passed away on Jan. 9, 2020 in Fairbury. She was born Dec. 11, 1956 to Henry and Betty (Chancellor) Kujath in Fairbury.
She graduated from Fairbury High School in 1975. After graduation, she moved to Beatrice and worked at the Beatrice State Developmental Home for 41 years until her health declined. She then moved to the Heritage Care Center in Fairbury.
She was an avid Husker fan. She enjoyed going to Faith Lutheran Church and quilting with the ladies.
She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, Geraldine and Elmer Urich; Reinhold and Anna Kujath; Warren and Bessie Chancellor; aunts, Judy Lambert, Esther Kujath, Gertrude and Marvin Dux; uncles, Ed and Walter Kujath, John and Martha Kujath, Raymond Chancellor; cousins, Jerry and David Kujath.
Survivors include her brother, Patrick and his wife, Diane of Fairbury; aunt, Frances Green and her husband, Tom of Lincoln; uncles, Pat Lambert and his wife, Joyce; Darrell Chancellor and his wife, Sylvia of Concordia, Kan.; Mike Chancellor and his wife, Nancy of Kansas City; special friends, Shannon Kleveland and her husband, Kenny and daughters, Chauncey and Whitley; Jeremy Mick, all of Beatrice and Jennifer Mick of Wymore; numerous cousins.
Services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 18, 10:30 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church in Fairbury with the Rev. Ken Hart officiating. Cremation has taken place. Burial will take place at a later date. Memorials to Faith Lutheran Church and St. John’s Lutheran Church in Beatrice.
