Pauline J. Lewis

Pauline Jean Lewis lost her three year battle with bone cancer August 19, 2022. She died peacefully at home in Fairbury with her husband Nick Lewis at her side.

Born July 19, 1946, in Manchester England, Pauline’s parents, Stanley and Mary Wood had thirteen children which provided many playmates for her. She met Nick in 2000, moved to the USA where they married.  They lived in the Ozarks, Totley, England, and many years in Fairbury, Nebraska.

Pauline had two sons, Thomas and Paul in England.  Thomas is married to Gill and they have two sons, Lewis and Thomas and a daughter Rebecca Farrell.  Paul is married to Tracy and they have a son named Matthew.  Her family meant the world to her and she loved them with all of her heart.

Pauline kept in touch with family and friends that were far away and she will be missed.

Her Lewis family loved her with open arms and delighted in her many “English” ways. She nursed Lou, her father-in-law through dementia, and assisted mother-in-law Jane after Lou passed away. She enriched our lives and will forever be with us in our hearts.
