Peggy Sue Palmerton

Peggy Palmerton, 58 of Fairbury passed away in Lincoln, NE on July 19, 2014. She was born October 27, 1955 at Hastings, NE. Her parents were Samuel and Joanne Engelhardt Ellis.

She is survived by daughters Angela Keim and Marty Rhoades of Lincoln, NE, Michelle Decker and husband Kirk of Lincoln, NE and a son Zachary Palmerton and Emily Karnish of Lincoln, NE. 11 grandchildren. Sister-in-law Donna Ellis of Auburn, NE.

A Celebration of Peggy’s life will be Thursday, July 24, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Fairbury, with Pastor Fay Hubbard officiating. Interment will be in the Fairbury Cemetery. Dress in Nebraska Cornhusker attire or red. Memorials are to the family’s choice. Family will greet friends on Wednesday from 6:30 – 8:00 at the funeral home. Cremation has taken place. Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home in Fairbury is in charge of arrangements.
