Phillip G Ambrose

Phillip G. Ambrose 64 of Jansen, NE. passed away December 16, 2018. He was born September 15, 1954 to Charles & Evelyn (Kitchen) Ambrose in St. Louis, MO.

He married Joyce (Muller) Ambrose November 14, 1981 and to this union they welcomed Odessa, Ahren & Seth.

Phil enjoyed hunting, fishing and working in his garage making things.  He also loved working on Race Cars and Racing with his sons. His grandchildren were his life.  He enjoyed helping them with their baseball, wrestling, basketball and volleyball.  He also loved helping with the Cub Scouts.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Chuck, and father-in-law William Muller.

Survivors are Wife: Joyce Ambrose of Jansen, Children: Odessa (Josh) Span of Fairbury, Ahren (Shauntae) Ambrose of Plymouth, Seth (Danielle) Ambrose of Beatrice, 8 Grandchildren: Toby, Kemper, Jo Jo, Kaison, Dalton, Lexi, Chuck, & Hadley, Mother-in-law: Lois Muller of Fairbury, Brothers-in-law: Keith (Lori) Muller of Wilber, Scott (Lori) Muller of Lincoln, Sister-in-law: Joan (Lawrence) Warnke of Fairbury.

Memorial services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday December 20, 2018 at Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home Chapel in Fairbury. The family will greet friends Wednesday December 19 ^th from 6 to 8 pm at Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home Chapel in Fairbury. Memorials will go to the Diabetes Association. Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home in Fairbury is in charge of arrangements.
