Phyllis Joan Ebke

Phyllis Joan Brunow Ebke of Fairbury, passed away May 4, 2014 at her home.  She was born to Henry August Brunow and Irene Day Brunow on November 11, 1939. She was married to Orville Dean Ebke August 21, 1960.

Survivors are her husband Orville, daughter Lori L. Adams and husband Tom of Fairbury, daughter Denise A. Scott and husband Pat of Beatrice, NE., Kari J. McCarty and husband Jim of Norfolk, VA., Susan L. Grace and husband Patrick of Leavenworth, KS., and Chad D. Ebke of Bennett, NE., 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, brother Phillip D. Brunow and wife Yvonne, brother Edward Crocker of Fairbury, Richard & wife Lorene Brunow of Wichita, KS., Larry Brunow and wife Pat of St. Francis, KS., numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be Friday May 9, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Jansen, NE., with Pastor Charles Schmidt officiating, with burial in the Fairbury Cemetery.  The family will greet friends at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday.  Memorials will go to the family’s choice.  Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
