Ray L. Specht, 67 of Fairbury, passed away Saturday, November 26, 2011 in Lincoln, NE. He was born December 28, 1943 at Swanton, NE to Ralph and Alma Anderson Specht. Independent Contractor for Lincoln-Journal Star Newspaper. He is survived by his wife Marge of Fairbury, sons Stacy Specht and wife Ronda of Fairbury and Jeremy Specht and wife Shirrese of Fairbury. 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. A sister Marvene Rogers of Fairbury, brothers Wayne Specht and wife Elaine of Hastings, NE, Loren Specht and wife Evelyn of Endicott, NE. Preceded in death by parents and sister Naomi McAtee. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church in Fairbury, with Pastor Charles Schmidt officiating. Burial will be in the Fairbury Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to family's choice. Family will greet friends from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at funeral home.
