Richard E. Niemeier

Richard E. Niemeier age 78 of Fairbury passed away on December 5, 2011. He was born January 30, 1933 at Beatrice, Nebraska the son of Emil and Alma Zulauf Niemeier.

Survivors include his wife Rachel, son James Niemeier and wife Mary, daughter Mary Niemeier, 3 grandchildren, brothers Donald Niemeier and wife Gail, Gary Niemeier, step-sisters Aurelia Krull and husband Arnold, Loraine Mommens, Arlene Maas.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Grace Lutheran Church in Fairbury with Pastor Charles Schmidt officiating. Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery east of Plymouth, Nebraska. The family will greet friends on Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
