Rick Hardesty, Sr.

Richard "Rick" Lee Hardesty, Sr., age 59 of Steele City, Nebraska died on February 28, 2008 at Fairbury. He was born April 10, 1948 at Kansas City, Kansas the son of Arthur and Marl Johnson Hardesty.


Survivors include his wife Shawna Coen-Hardesty of Steele City, sons
Junior Hardesty and Gene Hardesty both of Plattsmouth, Nebraska, brother Marty Hardesty of Fairbury, sister Barb Roland of Fairbury, 5 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Services will be on Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at the Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home in Fairbury. Burial will be at the Steele City Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday and Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until service time.
