Robert Allen Brown

Robert Allen Brown, 77, born November 2, 1936, passed away December 3, 2013 at his home in Fairbury, Nebraska. He was born to Everett Glen and Lois Irene Brown in Iowa City, Ia.

Survivors are wife: Tena Louise Hiatt Brown, Daughter; Tena Michelle and husband Roberto Gonzalez, Son; Robert Brown, Jr. and wife Joann, Daughter; Stephanie and husband Kerry Moody, Grandchildren; Christina and Katelynn Gonzalez, Jessica Cahill Thomason, Johnathan Hesters, Joshua Cahill, Scott, Joshua, Tregan, Timothy, Jay, Mo'Nae and Nylah Moody, and Tessa Schellhorn, Great Grandchildren; Melissa Cahill Thomason, Makenly Thomason, Gwenlynn Filip, Sisters; Norma and husband Larry Sanders, Ruth Ann and husband Lyle Floyd, Mary Jo Patrick, and Brother; Steve and wife Carol Brown and brother-in-law Ron Benson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Glenn and Frank, sister; Sharon Kay Benson, brother-in-law Calvin Patrick, and Great Grandson; William Robert (Robbie) Hodges.

Services will be Monday December 9, 2013 at 10:00 at the Church of God in Fairbury, Nebraska, with Pastor Kerry Moody officiating. The family will greet friends from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, December 8, 2013 at the Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home. Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
