In Loving Memory of Rocky Damon Lee October 1, 1965 – August 6, 2025
Rocky Damon Lee, age 59, passed away surrounded by the love of his family and friends. Born on October 1, 1965, Rocky lived a life full of warmth, laughter, and faith. Rocky is survived by his son Cody (Morgan) Lee, daughter Brianna (Adam) Skrdlant, stepdaughters Jayden and Jordan. His role as “Papa” was one he cherished deeply—his grandchildren Mikkie, Gianna, Oaklee, and Remington brought him immeasurable joy and pride. He is also survived by his brothers Tim (Darla) Lee of Hoxie, KS, Devon (Becky) West of Grafton, OH, and Duane (Roberta) Lee of Exeter, MO; and his sister Rhonda (Erick) Deliz of Reno, NV. His nephews Bill (Marjorie) Lee from Goodland, KS, who was more like another brother to him, and Bobby (Nina) Lee of Grand Haven, MI, held very special places in his heart.
For 18 years, Rocky was a dedicated associate at Walmart, where his work was much more than a job. The friendships he made there became lifelong bonds—many of his coworkers became his chosen family. Rocky’s love for Jesus Christ was at the core of who he was. His faith was unwavering, and his spirit reflected the kindness and generosity he so freely gave to others. Whether through his loud music, his incredible skill in drawing, or simply offering a helping hand, Rocky had a way of making people feel seen, supported, and loved.
He is preceded in death by his parents Hubert D. Lee and La Verne Lee; siblings Randy Lee, Ray (Joann) Lee, Lloyd (Doris) Lee, and Helen (Ray) Payne.
Rocky Damon Lee will be missed more than words can express, but his memory will continue to live on through the lives of those he touched.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 13 at the Presbyterian Church in Fairbury, Nebraska at 10:00 am, with a light luncheon to follow.
