Roger A. Crews

Roger Crews, 58, of Fairbury, passed away peacefully in his Fairbury home surrounded with family on April 11, 2021.
Roger was born on September 25, 1962 in Minnesota.
On June 16, 2005, Roger married Angela Young after being together since May 1993. Roger and Angela raised four beautiful daughters: Diana, Ashely, Rachelle and Shawntay. Roger and Angela have been friends since 1977. They grew up together.
Roger owned his own roofing company for many years. During the winter months Roger would shovel snow around his community. Roger always stayed busy, whether it was helping out in his community or doing yard work at his home. Roger is preceded in death by his mother Iola and father Paul and his grandson, baby Orion. Roger is survived by his wife Angela Crews, daughters Diana(John Iwert) Ashely Young, Rachelle(Brentt Gardner) and Shawntay Martin, grandchildren Nathaniel, Angelina, Demetrius, Elisea, Camileon, Jayden, Graceanne, Trentt, Clentt and Damian.

A celebration of life will be held Sunday, April 18, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home in Fairbury. All donations please go to Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home. Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
