Roland F. Meyer, age 86 of Fairbury, NE passed away on November 18, 2009 at Gardenside Long Term Care Facility in Fairbury, NE. He was born on December 28, 1922 in Hubbell, NE, the son of Fred and Carolina Louise Meyer.

Survivors include a sister, Elsie Mueller of Council Bluffs, IA; nieces and husbands Joyce and Weldon Sawatsky of Bessie, OK and Jan and Ralph Maloy of Unidilla, NE; and nephews and wives Chuck and Margo Reeg of Whittier, CA and Jim and Deb Mueller of Council Bluffs, IA.

Services were held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, November 30, 2009 at the American Lutheran Church in Fairbury, NE with Pastor Duane Holst officiating. Memorials to the American Lutheran Church.
