Roland R. "Scratch" Hummel, age 74 of Fairbury passed away on June 13, 2010. He was born October 9, 1935 at Lincoln, Nebraska the son of Earl and Irma Chirnside Hummel.
Survivors include his wife Mary Hummel, sons Randall Hummel and wife Cynthia, Gordon Hummel and wife Donna, daughter Denise Rose, 5 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, June 17, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Immanuel Lutheran Church of rural Daykin with Pastor Paul Beyer officiating. The family will greet friends on Wednesday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home
