Ronald Dean Riddle was born on September 11, 1944 at Fairbury,
Nebraska the son of Wallace Dean and Dorothy M. Glaze Riddle.
He died on August 15, 2007 at Norfolk, Nebraska at the age of
62 years, 11 months and 4 days.
Ron graduated from Diller High School in 1962. He lived in
Lincoln, Fairbury and Hebron (where he was a member of the Hebron Fire & Rescue—EMT) and then moved to Norfolk after
his divorce. His employment included being owner of Ron’s
OK Tire in Hebron, worked at Car International and while at Madison, he worked for IBP. His hobbies included hunting and fishing
and he supported all the athletic contests his family participated in.
Survivors include his daughters Debra Bulin and husband Alan of
Bruning, Nebraska, Diane Kujath and husband Pat of Fairbury,
Nebraska, Darcy Nun and husband Larry of Geneva, Nebraska,
mother Dorothy Riddle of Fairbury, Nebraska, grandchildren Tanner,
Conner, Ryan, Melissa, Sara and Megan, and also aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his father Wallace
and granddaughter Kiley.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at the Gerdes-Meyer Chapel in Fairbury with Pastor Warren Schoming officiating.Burial will be in the Steele City Cemetery at Steele City, Nebraska.
Memorials are to the Hebron Rescue Unit.
