Rosa Ackman

Rosa Mathilda Ackman, 88, formerly of rural Diller died at Parkview Center in Beatrice on Sunday afternoon, August 3, 2008. She was born December 15, 1919, to Carl and Mathilda (Dux) Iwert in Gladstone Nebraska.



Rosa is survived by her daughter, Alice (Kenneth) Burnett of Derby Kansas; Grandsons, Jeffrey Burnett (Kelly), and Andrew Burnett (Aubrey) all of Wichita Kansas; step-grand daughter Cheri Sliger (Chris) and step-great grandson Joseph Sliger of Derby KS; great grandson, Cash Burnett of Wichita; and sister, Irma Phifer of Topeka; 2 nieces and 6 nephews. Rosa is preceded in death by her husband, Delbert, brothers, Fredrick and Waldemar Iwert and her parents.



Services will be on Wednesday August 6,10:30 AM at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Diller, with Pastor Mark Liscom officiating. Burial will be at Prairie Home Cemetery at Diller. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Lutheran World Relief or St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
