Rosa O. Jones

Rosa O. Jones age 92 of Fairbury, NE., passed away October 24, 2009 at Gardenside Long Term Care in Fairbury. She was born January 19, 1917 at Daykin, NE. the daughter of LeRoy and Cora Gumble Hill.

Survivors include her sons LeRoy Jones and wife Patricia of Chester, Nebraska, Loren D. Jones and wife Linda of Blair, Nebraska, Jay Jones of Fairbury, 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Arthur, son Edwin "Punky" Jones, brothers Lowell Hill, Jess Hill, William Hill and sister Lillian West.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Fairbury Cemetery. The family will greet friends on Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home in Fairbury.
