Ruby M. Novotny

Ruby M. Novotny, age 90 of Odell passed away on December 23, 2009 in Lincoln. She was born August 18, 1919 at Hanover, Kansas the daughter of Otto and Anna Opfer.

Survivors include her husband Reynold Novotny of Odell, children Ronald Novotny and wife Jean of Platte City, Missouri, Richard Novotny and wife Jean of Boise, Idaho, Renae Novotny of Beatrice, Nebraska, Rondra Stalder and husband Robert of Hartville, Missouri and Rodney Novotny of Beatrice, Nebraska, 18 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, sister Helen Perkins, sister-in-law Marybelle Opfer, sister-in-law Muriel Opfer.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 28, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Our Savior Lutheran Church in Odell with Pastor Mark Williamson officiating. Burial will be in the Odell Czech Cemetery. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
