Russell E. Culp

Russell E. Culp, 86 of Fairbury, passed away November 5, 2014 at Gardenside Long Term Care. He was born to Grover and Bertha (Kuck) Culp January 24, 1928.

Survivors are his wife, Doris, daughters Cindy and husband Dennis Buchmeier of Fairbury, Lori Culp and Terry Devlin of Colorado Springs, CO, son Lynn and wife Lisa Culp of Fairbury, Todd and wife Lisa Culp of Omaha, NE, 9 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, brother Louis Culp of Texas, sister Loretta Ayers of Fairbury, Dorothy Jonas of Kansas City, MO, Muriel Oliver and Leona Heyen both of Hasting, NE.
He is preceded by his parents, grandson Benjamin, sisters Ruth, Margaret and Elsie and brother John.

Services will be Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Fairbury with Pastor Fay Hubbard officiating. The family will greet friends Friday from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials to Family’s Choice. Burial in the Fairbury Cemetery. Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
