Russell Miller, age 89 of Fairbury passed away on September 3, 2008 in Sioux City, Iowa. He was born on March 11, 1919 in Ellis, Nebraska the son of Orion and Sylvia Thompson Miller.

Survivors include his daughters Rowena Cowles and Marcia Carlson and husband Chuck, 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Funeral services were on Monday, September 8, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Fairbury with Pastor Jim Cutts officiating. Burial was in the Fairbury Cemetery.
