Ruth J. Hansmire

Ruth J. Hansmire, age 87 of Fairbury, passed away on January 29, 2009 in Fairbury. She was born March 15, 1921 at Fairbury the daughter of Dr. Harry and Vera Peterson Harvey.


Survivors include her husband Dr. Floyd Hansmire of Fairbury, son William Hansmire and wife Julia Ryan of Detroit, MI., daughter Susan Ellsbury and husband Michael of Fairbury, daughter Julie Hansmire and husband Randy Campbell of Loma, CO., 3 grandchildren, sister Jeanne Slack of Overland Park, KS., numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson John M. Ellsbury and brother Dr. Harold Harvey.


Memorial graveside services will be on Thursday, February 5, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Fairbury Cemetery with Pastor Warren Schoming officiating. Cremation has taken place.
