Ruth Maughn age 94 formerly of Fairbury passed away on October 13, 2011. She was born October 20, 1916 at Almina, Kansas the daughter of Gus and Eunice Swim Bernard.
Survivors include her daughters Sharon Jungck, Linda Reid and husband Finis, 7 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, son-in-law Robert Steineman, niece Shelley Harris.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at the Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home in Fairbury with Pastor Warren Schoming officiating. Burial will be in the Fairbury Cemetery. The family will greet friends on Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
