Ruth Newton

Ruth H. Newton, age 88 of Fairbury passed away on August 11, 2009 in Lincoln. She was born May 17, 1921 at Fairbury the daughter of O.C. and Lucille Hurlburt Brickell.

Survivors include her children Cindy Preston and husband Fred, Susan Madden, Rob Newton and wife Sharyn, Dick Newton and wife Jeanne, 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Fairbury with Pastor Warren Schoming officiating. Burial will be in the Fairbury Cemetery.
