Ruth "Skippy" Scherbarth

Ruth "Skippy" Scherbarth, age 76 of Fairbury passed away on May 11, 2010 in Lincoln. She was born February 14, 1934 at Sparta, Wisconsin the daughter of Clarence and Esther McCray Thomas.

Survivors include her husband Roger D. Scherbarth, Sr., sons Roger D. Scherbarth, Jr., Alan C. Scherbarth, daughter Jeannie K. Slater, 4 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, brother Ken Thomas and sister Kay Dreese.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 14, 2010 at 2:30 p.m. at the Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home in Fairbury with Rev. Dale Hill officiating. Burial will be on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at 3:30 p.m. at the Banner Cemetery at Burwell, Nebraska.
