Ruth Shew, age 99 of Fairbury passed away on November 10, 2009 in Fairbury. She was born March 14, 1910 at Beatrice, Nebraska the daughter of Henry and Stella Smethers Eby.

Survivors include her daughter-in-law Mary Shalla.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2009 at the First Christian Church in Fairbury. Burial will be at the Evergreen Cemetery at Beatrice, Nebraska.
