Samuel E. Hackbarth, age 86 of Fairbury passed away on November 28, 2010. He was born February 5, 1924 at Eldorado, Kansas the son of Samuel C. and Elsie Gage Hackbarth.
Survivors include his daughter Susan Bartels and husband Roy, 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, sisters Alice Gibson, Ruth Wagner, Lillian Colmer, Agnes Roland, Ethel Williams, Carolee Barber, Thelma Bean and brother Bill Hackbarth.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Fairbury. Burial will be in the Fairbury Cemetery.
