Scott Lee Bleick, 59, of Beatrice, Nebraska, passed away peacefully at his home on September 25, 2026. Born on July 28, 1967, Scott was a devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle, and friend who will be remembered for his love of family, his kind heart, and the many lives he touched throughout the years.
Scott found great joy in spending time with his family and creating lasting memories with those he loved. He was also a dedicated Kansas City Chiefs fan who rarely missed a game and enjoyed cheering on his favorite team each season. Whether spending time with family or watching the Chiefs play, Scott treasured the moments that brought people together. His presence brought comfort, laughter, and support to family and friends, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Scott was preceded in death by his parents, George and Patricia Bleick of Texas, and his sister, Wendy Bleick of Texas. He cherished their memory throughout his life and is now reunited with those who went before him.
Scott is survived by his loving wife, Shari Lee Bleick of Beatrice, Nebraska; his son, Jake Bleick of Concordia, Kansas; his daughter, Theresa Barnts and family of Fairbury, Nebraska; his son, Larry Bradley and family of Florida; his son, Joshua Hickey and family of Fairbury, Nebraska; his son, Seth Hickey and family of Deshler, Nebraska; his son, Brandon Hickey and family of Lincoln, Nebraska; his brother, Patrick Bleick and family of Bennington, Nebraska; as well as numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
A Celebration of Life honoring Scott will be held on Sunday, November 15, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at:

Donations will assist Scott's children with funeral and memorial expenses, as no life insurance or burial plan was in place at the time of his passing.
Scott's legacy lives on through the family and friends he loved so dearly. While he will be greatly missed, the memories he created, the laughter he shared, and the love he gave so freely will remain in the hearts of those who knew him forever.
