Sondra S. Sasse

Sondra Sue (Ebke) Sasse of Plymouth, passed away at the Heritage Care Center in Fairbury, NE February 9, 2022,  at the age of 74 years. Sondra was born October 18,1947 to Alfred and Hilda (Grummert) Ebke.

She was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran church of Harbine. She graduated from Fairbury High school.

On August 31, 1969, she married Darrell Sasse at St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church of Diller and they moved to a farm by Plymouth. Sondra enjoyed playing cards, driving her golfcart, taking care of her flowers and yard, and spending time with family and friends.

Sondra is survived by one son, Darren Sasse of Plymouth, one daughter, Dana Upchurch and husband, David (Guido) Upchurch of Harbine, brother Cliff Ebke and wife Linda of Jansen, sister-in-law Marlene Ebke of Plymouth, brother-in-law Robert Hays of Plymouth, sister-in-law, Cindy Lottman and husband, Douglas, of Diller; sisters-in-law Mary Sasse (Fairbury) and Rejeana Sasse (Diller) grandchildren, Andrew and Ashley Sasse, Zachary and Mikhaela Bergmeier; and many nieces and nephews.

Sondra was preceded in death by her husband Darrell, parents, infant son Wesley, sister Linda Hays and brother Gayle Ebke. Brother in laws: Leroy Sasse & Larry Sasse

Services will be Friday, February 11, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home Chapel. Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
