Suzette K. (Grone) Findley Mack

Suzette Kay (Grone) Findley Mack of Ogallala, NE passed away April 17, 2016 at 65.

She is survived by her husband Chet of Ogallala, son Travis (Renee) of Kansas City, MO, daughters Tracy (Tim) and Stacy (Jeff) of North Carolina, step-son William-Casey (Emily) of Ogallala, 7 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, 1 step-great-grandchild, 1 great-grandchild nearly here, mother Marjorie of Fairbury, brother Ron of Roenoke, TX, sister Shirley of Lincoln, and brother Donnie of Fairbury.

Suzette spent her childhood in Steele City NE where she was born August 4 1950. When she was sixteen her family moved to Warsaw, MO where she met her first husband Rickey Findley. They were married Jan 1968, blessing her with three children Travis (1969), Tracy (1972), and Stacy (1977). Suzette grew an accomplished quilting business, traveled the country, danced, and enjoyed classic cars like her 65 Chevelle.

In Jan 1996 Suzette married Chester (Chet) Mack of Cope CO and returned to the farming life that she loved. Giving her a chance to raise cattle, geese, and chickens. Suzette loved driving tractors and combines when she wasn’t gardening. When she and Chet moved to Ogallala she replanted around a thousand iris’.
