Tena L. Brown

Tena Louise Brown was born December 17,1942 to Max and Juanita Hiatt in Wabash, Indiana. She married Robert Allen Brown on September 30,1961. They have three children. Tena Michelle Gonzalez (Roberto), Robert Allen Brown Jr (Joann), and Stephanie Ellen Moody (Kerry).

Tena was a member of the First Church of God in Fairbury, Ne. She resided for 5 years at the Heritage Care Center before moving in with her daughter for her final days.

Preceding her in death are her parents Max and Juanita, Robert (husband), and three great-grandchildren.

Surviving her are her daughters, Michelle and Stephanie; her son ,Robert Jr; 14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Her brother Ed Hileman (Carolyn).

Services will be Friday, July 31, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at First Church of God in Fairbury. Memorials will go to the Vetter Health Foundation.  Public viewing will start at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Funeral Home. Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
