Teresa Kathleen Adam

Teresa Kathleen Adam 61, of Odell passed away at her home Wednesday, October 2, 2013. She was born August 27, 1952 at Tecumseh, NE to Adolph and Bernice Masur Fink, the youngest of seven children.

She received baptism, communion and confirmation at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Tecumseh, NE. She graduated from Elk Creek High School and then attended Peru State College earning a bachelor of Social Science Degree. She worked for DHHS in Lincoln for 27 years and then in Fairbury for a year.

She is survived by her husband Wayne of Odell, a son Andrew of Odell. Siblings Helen Thornton and husband Bill of Salina, KS, Florence Galazka and husband Walt of Bristol, CT, Pauline Linder and husband, Merlyn of Gretna, NE, Dorothea Bradsher and husband Amos of Holly, MI, Joe and Sharon Fink of Arlington, NE, Jim and Pat Fink of Castle Rock, CO and Step Mother Louise Fink of Cook, NE, Mother-in-law Lorna Adam of Odell and sister-in-law Katherine Adam of Odell.

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 7, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Odell, with Pastor Greg Stuckwisch officiating. Burial will be in the Odell Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the family’s choice. Visitation will be 1:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Vance – Gerdes Funeral Home in Odell.
