Vermillion "Dietz" Deditius
July 20, 1918 — September 16, 2007
Vermillion Francis "Deitz" Deditius, age 89 of Fairbury, died on Sunday, September 16, 2007 at the Gardenside Nursing Home in Fairbury. He was born July 20, 1918 at St. Louis, Missouri the son of August and Lydia Schmenburger Deditius.
Survivors include his wife Winifred, children Richard Deditius and wife Lori, Sarah Montgomery and husband Michael, Danny Deditius and wife Kelly, Patti Seitz and husband Brad, 9 grandchildren, 7 great-granddaughters.
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. at the Zion United Church Of Christ of rural Gladstone. Burial of cremains will be at a later date at Steinauer, Nebraska.
