Vern Gaston, age 66 of Fairbury passed away on August 21, 2009 in Fairbury. He was born August 1, 1943 at Reynolds, Nebraska the son of Harley and Viola Schmidt Gaston.
Survivors include his wife Mary Jo Gaston, daughter Karie Buchli and husband Matt, son Leon Gaston and wife Paula, sisters Sharon Holtzen and husband Dwayne, Lorie Monroe, brother Dennis Gaston, brother-in-law Don Willcoxon, 4 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at the Presbyterian Church in Fairbury with Lana Likens officiating. Burial will be in the Fairbury Cemetery.
