Vernon D. Beran

Vernon D. Beran, age 84 of Beatrice, Nebraska formerly of Odell, Nebraska passed away on October 3, 2009 in Beatrice. He was born July 5, 1925 at Odell the son of Alfred and Elsie Pribyl Beran.

Survivors include his wife Shirley Beran, sons Dale Beran and wife Radene, Dean Beran and wife Darlene, Richard Beran and wife Pat, Roger Beran, Kevin Beran, daughters Diane Beran, Denise Becker and husband Brian, 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, brother Loren Beran and wife Teda, and sister Arlene Hofmann.

Funeral services will be on Thursday, October 8, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at the Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home in Fairbury. Burial will be in the Odell Czech Cemetery. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00.
