Vernon M. Roesler

Vernon M. Roesler age 86 of Fairbury, Nebraska formerly of Western, Nebraska passed away on January 24, 2013. He was born July 13, 1926 at Tobias, Nebraska the son of Henry and Sophie Brunkow Roesler.

Survivors include his wife Janile Roesler of Fairbury, sons Michael Roesler and wife Jane of Malcolm, NE, Max Roesler and wife Grace of Cedar, MI, Mark Roesler and wife Christine of DeWitt, NE, Monty Roesler and wife Sandy of Crete, NE, Marlin Roesler and wife Denise of Lincoln, NE, Matt Roesler and wife Renee of Wilber, NE, daughters Marsha Burda and husband Dale of Western, NE, Mary Bailey and husband Dave of Wilber, NE, 31 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, brothers Lawrence Roesler and wife Evelyn of Lincoln, NE, Rolland Roesler of Lincoln, NE, George Roesler and wife JoAnne of Western, NE, sisters Joan Schwisow and husband Virgil of Napa, ID, Carolyn Haake and husband Leslie of Lincoln, NE, Elaine Waltke and husband Willard of Beatrice, NE, sisters-in-law Donna Crannell of Diller, NE, Jean Roseler of Lincoln, NE, Evelyn Roesler of Napa, ID, Bernice Condar of Filer, ID, Felice Roesler of Lincoln, NE.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 28, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at the Immanuel Lutheran Church of rural Daykin, NE with Pastor Paul Beyer officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation on Saturday will be from 1-8 p.m. at the Meyer Funeral Home in Western. Visitation on Sunday will be from 1-8 p.m. at the Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home in Fairbury with the family greeting friends 5-7 p.m.
