Virgil D. Richardson

Virgil D. Richardson 96 of Fairbury, died December 21, 2014 at Heritage Care Center. He was born to Lloyd and Lora (Fields) Richardson on December 25, 1917 at South Bend, Nebraska.

Survivors include his wife Betty of Fairbury, Daughters Sally (William) Hull of Fairbury, Torry (Chris) Thelen of Wood River, NE, Son Rick of Enid, OK, 10 Grandchildren, 10 Great-Grandchildren and 2 Great-Great-Grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter-in-law Tina and an infant sister.

Services will be Saturday, December 27, 2014, at 1:00 p.m.at Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home in Fairbury with Dean Valentine officiating. Memorials will go to the Family’s Choice. Burial will be at a later date. Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
