Virginia M. King, age 94 of Harbine, Nebraska passed away on November 16, 2009 in Beatrice. She was born September 17, 1915 at Urbana, Illinois the daughter of Horatio and Esther Kellogg McDewell.

Survivors include her daughter Joanne Breeden, son Donald Bowers and wife Joanne, son Lawrence Bowers and wife Barbara, 9 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 15 great-great grandchildren, daughter-in-law Susan Bowers, step daughter-in-law Karen King.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 20, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at the Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home in Fairbury with Pastor Randy Novotny officiating. Burial will be at the Steele City Cemetery.
