Vola J. Prellwitz

Vola J. Prellwitz, 89 of Fairbury, NE passed away February 18, 2016 at Heritage Care Center in Fairbury. She was born to Rollie and Tennessee (James) Roskilly May 4, 1926 at Hill City, Kansas.

Survivors are sons Charles Prellwitz and Special Friend Susan Bohlmeyer of Wymore, NE, Michael and wife Karen Prellwitz of Hebron, NE, Granddaughters Michel (Prellwitz) Casey & husband Paul, Kori Prellwitz, Katrina Prellwitz, Lisa Prellwitz & Neil Anderson and Staci Prellwitz, Grandson Dio Prellwitz, Great-Grandsons Kevin, Tanner, & Garrett Casey, Kyle Prellwitz and Brooks Anderson, Great-Granddaughters Taylor Nieman, McKenzie Casey & Imogen Prellwitz, sisters June Nutsch, Zona Quintana and husband Clinton, sisters-in-law Rosemary, June, Dorothy and Virginia, and many cousins, nieces & nephews.

Services will be Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home Chapel with Darlene Novotny officiating. The family will greet friends Monday evening from 6 to 8 at the Funeral Home. Memorials will go to the Family’s Choice. Burial in the Steele City Cemetery. Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home in Fairbury is in charge of arrangements.
