Wade Warren Lewis

Wade Lewis, 50, of Fairbury, passed away on January 1, 2024.

Wade was born on August 7, 1973, to David Lewis and Tamara D’Angelo Katz in Fairbury.

Wade grew up in Jansen and graduated from Fairbury High School in 1991. In that same year, he married Jennifer Barnts of Diller.

Wade attended Doane college, he then went on to his chosen career in plumbing, well service and water operations, as well as serving the many villages in the area.

Wade had many interests including activities with family and friends, working on cars, music, and anything to do with tech.

Wade is survived by his wife; sons John(fiancée  Megan); Michael (Madeline); grandchildren Kaden and Dexter; parents David Lewis, Tamara Katz (Lyle); brother Luke Katz (Rachel); sister Megan (Michael) Sothan; mother-in-law Patty Barnts, aunts, uncles, cousins, many friends and beloved dog Nyssa.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, January 13th, 11 a.m. at the Fairbury V.F.W. Memorials to family choice. Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
