Wauneta Ahrens Weichel

Wauneta Ahrens Weichel, age 78 of Fairbury, died on Thursday, September 27, 2007 in Fairbury. She was born on August 4, 1929 at Carleton, Nebraska the daughter of Emma Dirks and Fred Beanblossom.

Survivors include her children Joyce and Dennis Bessler of Swanton, William and Debra Ahrens, Joann and Douglas Zimmerman, Barb Schoenrock all of Fairbury, Robert and Terri Ahrens of Lincoln, Lori and Lynn Strouf of Swanton, step-sons Jim and Marla Weichel of Diller, Tom and Kathy Weichel of Billings, MT., Wayne and April Weichel, Ken and Yanka Weichel all of Fairbury, sisters Maxine McKay of Lincoln, Doris Skinner of Hastings, brother Fred Beanblossom and wife Alice of Doniphan, NE., 14 grandchildren, 9 step-grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 11 step-great-grandchildren, special friend Doran Dale Milius, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be on Saturday, September 29, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. at the Faith Lutheran Church in Fairbury with Pastor Richard Larson officiating. Burial will be in the Fairbury Cemetery.
