Wayne L. Rogers

Wayne L. Rogers, 81 of Fairbury, NE passed away Sunday, May 16, 2010 at his home. He was born October 24, 1928 in Endicott, NE to Thomas Cecil Rogers and Gertie Adams Rogers.

Wayne was a retired farmer.

Surviving are his wife Marvene; son, Glen & wife Shirley of Fairbury; daughters, Arla Fryer & husband Charles of Fairbury, and Rosanna Wiegert & husband Ron of Fairbury; 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; sisters, Luella Levell & Glenn LaRoe of Eustis, FL and Cynthia Newman and husband Mike of Fairbury; brothers-in-law, Wayne & Elaine Specht of Hastings, NE, Loren & Evelyn Specht of Endicott, NE, and Ray & Marge Specht of Fairbury.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, infant sister Barbara and Step-Mother, Marion Rogers.

Cremation has taken place, but a memorial book is available at the Funeral Home for all to sign.

Memorial Services will be at 10:30 AM Thursday, May 20, 2010 at Grace Lutheran Church in Fairbury with Pastor Charles Schmidt officiating. Interment will be in Fairbury cemetery at a later date.
