Willis W. Oliver

June 29, 1986 — September 20, 2020

Willis Wayne Oliver, born on June 29, 1986, regrettably passed away on September 20, 2020 from a pulmonary embolism. He was born to Sharon Craig Oliver and Roy Oliver in Englewood, CO. He graduated from Fairbury High School in 2004. He went on to work with his mother at NEAPCO in Beatrice, and later Echo Group Inc in Diller.

He was a Junior Warden at the Fairbury Masonic Lodge #35. He was a loving father, brother, husband, son, uncle and grandson. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, was an avid gamer and loved streaming various games on Twitch with his wife. He was a doting father, and would do anything for his family, no matter the cost. He loved metal, particularly Marilyn Manson, and his 2013 Dodge Challenger. He was an avid Broncos fan, and only the birth of his son ever made him (almost) miss a game. Luckily, the hospital put it on the television in the delivery room. He was Grandma and Grandpa’s little Willy Wonka butt. Those who knew him best knew that though he wanted you to believe he was a stern and intimidating man; everyone knew that he was secretly a big ‘ol teddy bear.

He was a man who was there for his friends throughout the good times and the bad. He taught us the importance of showing that you can still have love for everyone despite your differences. He always stuck true to his personal beliefs and convictions and was always unapologetically himself. He was loved by many and personally touched multiple lives. He lived his life to the fullest, and spent his final moments in the arms of his loving wife.

He is survived by his wife Desirae whom he married August 25, 2017, children Lillian, Brooke, and William of Fairbury, NE Mother Sharon Craig of Fairbury, NE; Father Roy Oliver of Fairbury; Sister Barbara (Scotty) Jones; Niece, Christina, Nephew, Guy Dale; Grandmother Matilda Craig, many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and extended Family.

He was preceded in death by his Uncle Grant Craig, Grandfather James C Craig Sr., and Grandparents Bernice and Christina Oliver; and many other Family members.
