Wilma Eileen Busing, 92, the Daughter of William and Rose Delong Williamson, was born August 18, 1929 in Alexandria, NE. and passed away at home in Marysville, KS, on the 18th of February 2022, where she had lived the past 17 months.
A service will be held 230pm Monday, February 21st, 2022 in the Alexandria Presbyterian Church, burial in the Alexandria City Cemetery.
Wilma attended Alexandria public school and graduated in 1947. She worked at the Locker plant and Cafe. She married Wallace H. Busing
September 2nd, 1948. Wilma and her husband purchased the Alexandria Hardware in 1952 and she worked at the business until their retirement/store closing in 2004. Wilma was an active member of the Alexandria Presbyterian Church joining at age 13 and
was presented a longevity award in April 2018.
She enjoyed gardening, yard work and growing flowers both outside and inside her home. She liked to collect angels and teddy bears and they could be found throughout the home. She enjoyed watching Husker football games, win or lose. Survivors include sons, Randy and wife Rene of
Arvada, Colorado, Bruce and wife Sherrie of Marysville, Kansas, Terry and wife Teresa of Shawnee, Kansas, Kirk and wife Donna of Ogallala,
Nebraska and Marc and wife Lori of Olathe, Kansas. Six Grandchildren, Shonna, Tom, Todd, Bradley, Jessica, and Michael and 8 Great,
Grandchildren, Shyra, Anthony, Ivy, Maximus, Jayden Kassidi, Maelee and Lanie. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Rose Williamson, Husband Wallace in 2010, Her Sister Virginia Sims and Husband Howard, Brother Dale Williamson and wife Alto Joe
and Sister Bonnie DeWald and husband Ben.
Gerdes-Meyers Funeral Home in Fairbury is in charge of funeral arrangements. Memorial funds will be donated to Dementia/Alzheimers research, 225 N. Michigan Ave, FL 17, Chicago, Illinois 60601.
